The special thing about titihari is that this bird does not make its nest on the tree. It makes its nest on the ground in the fields or in the bushes. Also, even after knowing how to fly, this bird does not sit on trees. However, titihari do not fly very long. Its length is about 32 to 35 cm, and its weight is about 200-250 grams. It is a calm bird of gray brown colour. But, it becomes aggressive in protecting its eggs. Its eggs are often eaten by snakes or other animals.
